Announcement from the Co-Chairs
One year into the COVID-19 pandemic, our work is still evolving as we continue to LEAN IN to a rapidly changing world. This past year has taught us important lessons about the positive impact of interprofessional collaboration for practice and education in this uniquely challenging time. We continue to learn how interprofessional practice and education (the New IPE) can make a difference in addressing health equity, engaging patients, families and communities in co-creation of practice and education, and lead to important Quadruple Aim outcomes.
We are excited to come together to learn from, with and about the work we are all doing to change practice, education and health for the better! We have engaged with our Summit partners, advisors, AIHC members, and YOU to understand how to best deliver an impactful, high-value program during this still uncertain time.
We are thrilled that Nexus Summit 2021 will again be co-sponsored by AIHC and NCICLE. We invite you to engage with the provocative plenaries, engaging seminars and lightning talks with learning once again facilitated by expert Track Leaders. We are creating additional opportunities for engagement and networking throughout the program, and bringing back our successful Conversation Cafes, all facilitated by our “More than a Meeting™” platform.
Nexus Summit 2021 will continue to address Strategic Priority Action Areas defined during last year’s Nexus Summit. Themes include:
- Innovations in Interprofessional Learning: in Practice and/or the Education
- Innovations in Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (NEW for 2021!)
- Individual/Family and Community-Engaged Practice and Education
- The Nexus of Health Equity
- Leadership and Mentorship: Innovations in Interprofessional Learning
