What is the role of the Track Leaders?

Nexus Summit 2021 is offering five thematic content tracks with more than 15 sub-tracks. Each learning sub-track is facilitated by track leaders - or agitators of learning - in the thematic area. Track leaders will support deep discussion by asking questions and promoting dialogue. To learn more about tracks in advance of the Nexus Summit, read our Reflective Learning Guides, available no later than September 8, 2021. Each Reflective Learning Guide has learning objectives and reflective questions to support learning.

How can I view the poster presentations?

Beginning September 8, all professional posters and student posters will be available for viewing. All poster presentations are up to five minutes. We encourage you to view posters through the Nexus Summit meeting and post your comments and questions in the comments section. Poster authors will be checking in frequently throughout the meeting to respond to your questions and comments.

What can I expect in a Lightning Talk Live Discussion?

Session attendees are encouraged to watch the pre-recorded Lighting Talk presentations and Clinical Lightning Talk presentations (available for viewing on September 8) ahead of the Lightning Talk Live Discussions. All Lightning Talks pre-recorded presentations are grouped by track and, when applicable, sub track to make the most of a learning experience. These groups of Lightning Talk presentations will be paired together for the Lighting Talk Live Discussions as well.

During a Lightning Talk Live Discussion, attendees will be expected to have watched the pre-recorded presentations and be ready for discussion. Interaction will be encouraged and the discussion will be facilitated by the thematic track leader.

Can I use my computer or my mobile device to connect?

While you can access specific sessions via the Zoom app on a mobile device, the National Center team recommends logging into the Nexus Summit sessions on a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer for optimal user experience.
