Amanda Hayden, SPT, is a third year Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at Duke University School of Medicine. Prior to coming to Duke, Amanda completed a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. During her undergraduate education, Amanda was exposed to a highly interprofessional rehabilitation clinic for patients with central nervous system dysfunction, which first sparked her interest in interprofessional work and education. Amanda now serves as a DPT program delegate on the Duke's Interprofessional Center for Education and Care's student advisory committee, as well participates in many other extracurricular interprofessional programs that Duke offers.
