Brandon is a third-year medical student at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine (COM) with a background in Biomedical Engineering. I currently am the President of the OU Community Health Alliance, a Volunteer Coordinator for the COVID-19 vaccine clinics put on by Unity Clinic, and a graduate research assistant with the COM Academic Affairs for the 2021-2022 academic year. My professional interests are in providing care for medically underserved communities, integrating community development efforts with community health initiatives, and improving medical operations of free and charitable clinics and community health centers.

With the approval of the first COVID-19 vaccines, it became clear that students at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center (OUHSC) would be an integral component of the University’s community vaccination efforts. The OUHSC campus cares for Oklahomans across the state and took on the responsibility of leading large vaccination events early during vaccine rollout.
