Dr. Bruce A. McPheron is Dean's Chair in International Programs and a Professor of Entomology in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at the Ohio State University. He served as Ohio State's Executive Vice Presidnet and Provost from December, 2015, through July, 2021. Prior to that role, he served as the Vice President for Agricultural Administration and Dean of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at Ohio State, following a 25 year career at Penn State University. In his role as provost, he worked to build an interdisciplinary culture across one of the most comprehensive universities in the world. Interprofessional educaiton for our health sciences students was a critical part of this portfolio, reflecting the manner in which health professionals practice their craft. Dr. McPheron, an entomologist by training, is an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Entomological Society of America, and he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Feeding America.
