I addition to leading the IPE efforts in the Division of Biokinesiology & Physical Therapy, Dr. Cheryl Resnik serves as director of community outreach. She oversees the pro bono USC Fit Families clinic, which is dedicated to health, wellness and disease prevention for the local community. She has a long history of leadership in the profession, including serving as president of the California Physical Therapy Association and vice president of two sections in the American Physical Therapy Association. In the classroom, Dr. Resnik incorporates mindfulness meditation and motivational interviewing as both personal and clinical skills for first-year doctoral physical therapy students.

This presentation addresses the selected theme 'Innovations in Interprofessional Learning in Education' and subtheme 'Online, Virtual and Technology Facilitated Interprofessional Learning' as the Virtual Interprofessional education (VIPE) program is an innovative multi-institutional collaboratively designed and subsequently facilitated online and virtual interprofessional education learning program led by an interprofessional group of faculty.
