Dr. G. Christopher Hunt is the Vice President and Dean for Equity and Inclusion and serves on the President’s Cabinet. His research interests include college student development, Critical Race Theory, Stereotype Threat, sexual misconduct prevention, generations, Black student, Racial Battle Fatigue, and identity development. He holds a Doctor of Education and a Bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. A native of New York state and longtime Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania resident, Chris is a father of three Generation Z children and a Beagle-Chihuahua rescue.

Background: Increasing evidence suggests that cross-disciplinary teamwork benefits patient care, reduces provider burden, improves clinical team performance, and is critical to the prevention of medical error (Mayo & Woolley, 2016).
