Dr. Dayna Herrera has been employed as a full time tenured track faculty member at California Baptist University, College of Nursing for 12 years. She has been in nursing education for 13 years. She is currently the Department Chair for IPE & Learning Resource Center with an academic focus in areas of IPE, informatics, simulation and leadership. Dr. Herrera focuses her scholarly activities to the direct benefit of patients outcomes; with the majority of efforts toward the effective provision of interprofessional education (IPE), envisioning and formulation of the IPE faculty committee & fully integrated program; Called2Collaborate.

California Baptist University’s (CBU) health profession programs recognize the international call for integration of interprofessional education competencies to prepare students for collaborative practice.
