Dr. Ebony Whisenant is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health. She is the Fellowship Director for the Primary Care Transformation Executive Fellowship. Dr. Whisenant is passionate about providing quality healthcare to underserved and vulnerable populations, reducing health disparities, and leading change in healthcare through medical education. Dr. Whisenant has trained undergraduate and graduate-level students, as well as practicing clinicians in community engagement, social determinants, and population health while introducing them to concepts such as advocacy, community-based participatory research, healthcare transformation, and leadership.
