Erin recently graduated with her Master's in Social Work from The Ohio State University and is a licensed social worker in Ohio. Erin currently is a crisis clinician with a non-profit agency in Columbus Ohio. Erin has excelled in internships in a variety of Interprofessional settings including Franklin County Children Services and Riverside Methodist Hospital. Erin is motivated to use current research and evidence-based practice to advocate for clients and their families in a community setting. She participated in multiple interprofessional activities during her time at OSU that encouraged learning and growth.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
Thirty students at The Ohio State University were asked to participate in the first-ever Interprofessional Community Scholars program and partner with the Partners Achieving Community Transformation (PACT) organization in Columbus’ Near East Side, the OSU Wexner Medical Center, and OSU Family and Community Medicine residents to work with Community Health Mentors to assess health needs, improve digital literacy, and enable access to important community care and services in a low socioeconomic area.
