Dr. Gayle Timmerman is the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor at The
University of Texas Austin, School of Nursing. She has over 25 years of administrative and leadership experiences in nursing and more recently interprofessional education. As a founding steering committee member for UT Austin Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education and PI for a large USDHHS Advanced Nursing Education Grant Program focused on the Integration of Care for Patients with Multiple Chronic Conditions Using Interprofessional Education, she has worked to strengthen interprofessional education opportunities across the health professions.
