Dr. Gina Fox, OTD, OTR/L, is a lecturer for the Occupational Therapy department at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA. Her clinical work has been primarily in acute inpatient rehabilitation, acute care and outpatient rehabilitation, with a specialty focus in adult neuro rehabilitation. Dr. Fox’s additional clinical interests include vision, outcome measures and mentoring among therapists. She has experience facilitating a variety of interprofessional educational opportunities with students from various disciplines and learning stages, and enjoys mentoring students at these events.

Just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, faculty and students at Pennsylvania State university had begun piloting an Interprofessional Teaching Clinic (IPTC) Consult Service. On account of the pandemic, the IPTC abruptly transitioned from in-person encounters to operating remotely using a telehealth model. Patients “seen” at the IPTC are referred by their primary care physicians (PCP) due to belief that these patients would benefit from an interprofessional consultation.
