Gretchel Gealogo Brown is Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is board certified in adult medical-surgical nursing. Her collaborations with health sciences professionals across the learning and practice continuum are informed by her clinical, teaching and research experience in hospital inpatient, emergency room and community health settings. Gretchel is expanding her mixed methods scholarship in health services program evaluation to include building the university’s interprofessional practice and education (IPE) workforce capacity by spearheading UT Health San Antonio’s LINC Faculty and Staff Development Initiative.

Background: The Quality Enhancement Plan at UT Health San Antonio, Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC), serves as the institutional blueprint for transforming campus-wide interprofessional education (IPE).
