Heidi Ewen is an associate professor and the program director for the Master of Science in Health Care Administration at University of Indianapolis. She holds a PhD in Gerontology/Behavioral Science, a MA in Psychology, and a BA in Psychology. Dr. Ewen has successfully collected, analyzed, and interpreted data, and presented and published manuscripts on residential relocation, aging, and adaptation to senior housing. Her research interests are aging in place, senior residential relocation, adaptation to senior housing, healthcare workforce, burnout and turnover of direct care staff, housing policy, bereavement, and best practices in the intersection of housing and healthcare.
