Dr. Utley is the Dean of Health Sciences at Grayson College. She is a licensed healthcare professional with over 25 years of practice in the field of Athletic Training. Dr. Utley has extensive leadership experience in higher education with over 20 years of administrative experience in health professions education. She is an international scholar and a Fellow of the National Academies of Practice. Dr. Utley believes in educating graduates to be change-agents of healthcare, to lead interprofessional patient-centered care teams that are population focused, cost-effective and foster personal and professional wellbeing.

In response to the NEXUS 2020 retrospective pre-test discussion, a focused presentation will examine the benefits and limitations of the retrospective pre-test compared to the traditional pre-test post-test. As demonstrated in the body of literature, there is a potential overutilization of the traditional pre-post survey methodology that may be adding to the inconsistent findings of IPE efficacy.
