Janice L. Hanson, PhD, EdS, MH is Professor of Medicine, Co-Director of the Medical Education Research Unit, Director of Education Scholarship Development at Washington University, and member of the Curriculum Advisory Committee of the Center for Interprofessional Education. She holds appointments as Adjunct Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Professor Emerita at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine. Dr. Hanson has published and presented on topics such as qualitative research methods, gathering validity evidence, patients and families as advisors, reflective practice, communication skills, hierarchy in medical culture, and interprofessional education.
