Jarad Anderson is a third-year medical student at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biosciences with Distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 2019. He has served as a clinical volunteer coordinator throughout the Unity Clinic’s vaccination effort serving thousands of Oklahomans.

With the approval of the first COVID-19 vaccines, it became clear that students at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center (OUHSC) would be an integral component of the University’s community vaccination efforts. The OUHSC campus cares for Oklahomans across the state and took on the responsibility of leading large vaccination events early during vaccine rollout. To meet the needs of our state, the Unity Clinic, the campus's student-led interprofessional clinical experience, served as a vehicle to recruit and engage students from across the campuses 7 colleges.
