Jaye Lynn Robertson is an Associate Professor at the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She joined the college of nursing after holding several positions in both academic and healthcare organizations. Previous roles include administrative positions in pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, organizational development, and human resources. Throughout her career she has maintained a passion for mentoring and supporting new leaders. Her research interesting include mentorship, leadership development and creation of healthy work environments that positively impact patient and family outcomes.

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:

This project addresses the conference theme of “Innovations in Interprofessional Learning: in Practice and/or Education.” Students who desire leadership positions or in various health administration programs often do not work together until they have graduated and are working in healthcare settings. This is a disadvantage for them when they work in resolving urgent matters within healthcare.
