John McKenzie is the Director of Educational Development for the University of North Texas Health Science Center’s (UNTHSC) Division of Academic Innovation, a role he has held since 2021. Previously he was Assistant Director of HSC's Center for Innovative Learning from 2020-2021, and from 2017 to 2020, Mr. McKenzie held a position as a Technology Specialist in the Center for Innovative Learning. As Chair of the UNTHSC Microcredentials Committee, Mr. McKenzie has developed, implemented and facilitated processes for launching an institutional microcredential initiative. He holds a Master of Science in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University.
