Kaitlin Smith is the Program Director for Relational Leadership at Carolina. She excels in Continuous Quality Improvement, Curriculum Mapping and Interprofessional Education. She earned a Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary Mathematics) from Duke University, a Master of Library Science from East Carolina University, and her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Embedded within UNC’s Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice, Relational Leadership at Carolina is an interprofessional, cross-generational learning community focused on building skills to support “an inclusive mindset and community” to thrive through authentic connection. Relational Leadership at Carolina was founded in 2018 and launched its first pilot program in Spring 2019.
