I received my BS in occupational therapy from the University of Southern Indiana (USI) in 1999, my Masters in 2016, and my doctorate in 2018 from Eastern Kentucky University. I am certified as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) since 2013. I began in May 2021 as an assistant professor in the OTD program at Gannon University Ruskin. I served as chair of the OT Assistant program at USI from October 2020-May 2021 and an assistant professor at USI in the MSOT program from September 2018-May 2021. I practiced with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation for 16 years.

The faculty, staff, and health profession students conducted an interprofessional wellness fair aiming to promote health and provide opportunities for interprofessional collaboration. The disciplines of nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and kinesiology practiced the competencies of the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) and TeamSTEPPS® through training and implementation at the interprofessional wellness fair.
