Kathi Sengin Katz, PhD, RN, CNE is an experienced nurse leader with numerous years of executive leadership at large academic medical centers. Dr. Katz is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida, College of Nursing in Tampa, Florida, teaching in the graduate and undergraduate programs. She received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and Certificate in Administration from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Katz has published in the area of course and work redesign, magnet hospitals, RN job satisfaction, and the relationship between staff and patient satisfaction.
