Dr. Kathryn A. Mueller, PharmD is an Assistant Professor at the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at East Tennessee State University and has served as the volunteer pharmacist for the Gary Shealy ALS Clinic in Johnson City, TN since its inception in 2017. Dr. Mueller received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota in 1990 and has enjoyed a variety of pharmacist roles including a Poison Information Specialist, Clinical Pharmacist, Clinical Coordinator, and a Drug Information Specialist at the University of Utah. Dr. Mueller currently provides drug information services to the College of Pharmacy and its affiliates.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a devastating disease with no cure. An interdisciplinary care model is the treatment standard for patients with ALS (PALS).
