Le’Keisha D. Johnson is an administrator and student affairs practitioner who collaborates with campus-wide leadership to create impactful programming and services for students. With nearly 17 years of experience, she understands the importance of collaboration in student affairs, as well as patient care and research. Le’Keisha has secured university grant funding the past 5 years for the Interprofessional Leadership Scholars Program, a one semester co-curricular program that gives students the skills needed to work in an interprofessional team environment. Le’Keisha holds a BBA in Management and an MBA in Project Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

This Lightning Talk will highlight a university-wide series of online interprofessional education (IPE) modules completed synchronously without direct involvement of faculty facilitators. 977 first-year students representing 26 educational programs participated in interprofessional groups of 3-4 in a self-directed manner using just learner guides. Multiple modalities facilitated engagement, including interprofessional socialization exercises, mini-lectures augmented with video vignettes, and novel illustrated and video case studies.
