I am well entrenched in the model of interprofessional geriatrics and team-based approaches to care. My social work background has been an asset in these roles. I co-authored two HRSA funded White Papers. On the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations grant, I developed and implemented curricula for medical students, residents, attendings and community members on issues of family caregiving. I teach in the NICHE program to nurses at a local hospital. As Project Director for the GWEP at NEOMED, I have full administrative responsibilities of grant management. I have educated over 2,500 student and professional learners through online didactics and simulations.

By the end of this seminar, learners will
gain knowledge of a multi-step method for designing a virtual interactive interprofessional education (IPE) event,
gain skills for creating a virtual IPE applying the multi-step method, and
gain skills and strategies for overcoming common barriers associated with implementing an IPE.
