Dr. Marta Vives, DNP, FPMHNP, CNS, BC, RN, obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2012 from the University of Tenn essee and her Master's degree from George Mason University in 2002. She is Assistant Professor/Clinical of advanced practice gr aduate and doctorate level nursing students at UT Health San Antonio, School of Nursing. She serves as chair/mentor for students developing performance improvement projects at a doctoral level (DNP). She is an ANCC board certified Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. She practices as a behavioral health provider at UT Health Wellness 360 clinic.

Background: The Quality Enhancement Plan at UT Health San Antonio, Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC), serves as the institutional blueprint for transforming campus-wide interprofessional education (IPE).
