Melanie Hallman, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, ACNP-BC, ENP-C, FAEN
Dr. Hallman is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing. Prior to entering the nursing profession, she worked in prehospital emergency services where she gained invaluable experience working in diverse interprofessional teams. This impacted her appreciation of the team approach to patient care and its importance to achieving quality outcomes. Dr. Hallman teaches in the graduate program and is Co-coordinator of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner subspecialty. She incorporates interdisciplinary education and emergency team dynamics into coursework and simulation experiences for her students.
