Dr. Duckett received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in 1993, a Master of Science in Nursing and a Teaching Certificate in Nursing Education from Jacksonville State University in 2012, and a Doctor in Nursing Practice from Jacksonville State University in 2019. She worked in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit at a regional hospital for 20 years and obtained her certification in critical care (CCRN) during that time. After obtaining her master’s degree, she began working for Jacksonville State University in 2013 as an instructor teaching medical-surgical nursing in the traditional undergraduate BSN program.
