Michaela Murphy graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Social Work this past May, and immediately entered into a dual degree Master's program in Social Work and Public Health at the University of Michigan. She focuses her research on domestic and sexual violence outcomes, with a special interest in substance use. She hopes to one day create trauma-informed programs to address substance use in pregnant women and survivors of abuse.

Background: The IPE Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is a student-run committee that serves as a collaborative community for all the health professional schools and officially recognized interprofessional education (IPE) organizations at the University of Michigan.
