Dr. Borkowski is a Distinguished Professor in the School of Health Professions' Department of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She teaches and studies health care organizational behavior and strategy. She has published four textbooks and numerous papers. Dr. Borkowski teaches undergraduates in health care management, graduate students in health services administration master’s program, and doctoral students in the PhD and Executive DSc programs. In her teaching and scholarship. Dr. Borkowski has collaborated across campus with individuals from multiple schools, including Nursing, Business, Public Health, Medicine, and others. She actively collaborates with colleagues across the country and the World.
