Patricia Amadio, MD

Dr. Amadio is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Quillen College of Medicine, one of the five colleges of the ETSU Academic Health Sciences Center. During her 30+ years of experience, she has worked in rural primary care settings with limited access to specialty care. She has been teaching at Quillen for 8 years and has a special interest in interprofessional street health outreach to people experiencing homelessness. She is the faculty advisor for the Street Medicine Interest Group.

Background: The ETSU HealthBridge is a community of interprofessional faculty and students who affirm the inherent worth of unhoused people experiencing homelessness by meeting them where they are, and by providing care with compassion, trust, and excellence whose vision is to bridge barriers so that health care reaches everyone in our community, especially those who are unsheltered.
