Rayan Salih completed her English undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech. She is currently a PharmD candidate at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science located in North Chicago Illinois with an expected graduation date of June 2023. Rayan is also a graduate student researcher and third year pharmacy student with an interest in interprofessional research.

The University of New England and Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Sciences collaborated on a longitudinal co-curricular immersive telehealth experience via Zoom that ran from September 2020 through March 2021. Ten interprofessional (IP) student groups, comprised of 10 different professions took part in training sessions for motivational interviewing and telehealth before the simulation. The interprofessional team immersion (IPTI) is a longitudinal, curricular program that provides interactive and cross-professional learning experiences. Learning objectives are aligned with behaviors identified in the core competencies for interprofessional collaborative practice and aim to increase students' understanding of each other's roles and responsibilities, apply teamwork principles and refine communication skills for person-centered care.
