I am an assistant professor/Clinical in the Department of Cell Systems & Anatomy, UT Health San Antonio. I teach human gross anatomy to medical, occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant, biomedical engineering and graduate students. I have directed gross human anatomy courses for physical therapy and physician assistant students and the summer anatomy workshop for undergraduate students. I am the contact-PI on an educational project titled “Improving patient outcome through interprofessional vascular sonography training” recently funded by our institution’s Interprofessional Education (IPE) Research and Scholarship Initiative.
