Reza Taheri is Professor and Associate Dean of Professional Affairs and Student Success at Chapman University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Taheri’s academic career path started as a faculty at the Western University of Health Sciences, followed by faculty, Director of Experiential Education, and Chair of the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy. He then served as the founding Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and later Dean of the School of Pharmacy at West Coast University. Dr. Taheri’s scholarly work concentrates on curricular integration and the affective domain knowledge and skill development.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
The purpose of this experience was to expose pharmacy and nursing students to leadership and patient advocacy skills within an interprofessional team. The experience allowed students to immerse into an interactive environment during remote learning through a virtual simulation.
