Sharon Holt is a Lecturer in the School of Health Science Occupational Therapy Program at Eastern Michigan University. Her clinical background is in acute and post acute care specializing in traumatic brain injury. Her teaching focuses on creating opportunities for students to become capable, creative and caring occupation-focused practitioners who will lead the profession into the future. She has participated in and disseminated her work in interprofessional education since 2017.

Background:Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many IPE activities have been redesigned to accommodate virtual learning. Virtual platforms can help in engaging healthcare professionals from other institutions to provide more realistic representation of healthcare professionals from across the continuum of care involved in care of patients.
