Dr. Gandotra is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine at University of Alabama Birmingham, joining faculty in 2018 after the completion of her fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She currently serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship and Program Director for the Critical Care Fellowship. She is an advocate of simulation training in critical care education and has been involved in simulation education for residents and fellows since joining faculty.

BackgroundProviding resuscitation for cardiac arrest patients in the setting of a global pandemic is challenging and requires those responding to balance the immediate needs of the patient with their own safety.
