Shelly Wissink is a mental health counselor with degrees in communication and counseling. She is a Senior Counselor at the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, and the owner of Harmony Counseling and Wellness. Ms. Wissink has over 20 years of experience in higher education and loves working with veterinary professionals to enhance their communication skills and mental health. Her specialty is working with individuals on interpersonal relationships to improve understanding and connection. Currently completing her credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, she intends to integrate her expertise in communication to improve how traumatic experience narratives are relayed and interpreted.
