Dr. Carmel has years of experience in full-time clinical practice and in PT higher education. Dr. Carmel has a BS in Physical Therapy, a post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy, and earned a Doctorate in Education in 2020. Dr. Carmel’s scholarship agenda includes clinical education and DPT student interprofessional practice. Dr. Carmel teaches and facilitates clinical educational learning experiences, and teaches in Physical Therapy Exam, Management Applications of Physiology, and Professional Issues and Case Management courses. Dr. Carmel is APTA Level I and Level II Credentialed clinical instructor, APTA member, and chair of the Colorado Clinical Education Special Interest Group
