Tamara Wolske is an assistant professor and works as the director of the Aging Studies programs, and an affiliated faculty member of the Center for Aging & Community at University of Indianapolis. She holds an AA in Psychology, BA in Sociology, MS in Gerontology, and MPhil in International Business Administration. She is a credentialed professional gerontologist (CPG) through the National Association for Professional Gerontologists, Certified Senior Advisor® (CSA) through the Society for Certified Senior Advisors and a Certified Eden Alternative Associate/Eden at Home Associate. Wolske's foci include global aging, end-of-life, cultural awareness, workforce issues and culture change in long-term care.

Preparing students to successfully manage situations they will encounter in their work lives outside the classroom is essential to broaden their scope beyond the knowledge, skills and communication style of one particular discipline.
