Dr. Wesley Richardson is a Nurse Educator at South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS). As part of the academic partnership between STVHCS and UT Health San Antonio, School of Nursing, he is an Assistant Professor teaching in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Dr. Richardson has been teaching at UT Health San Antonio since 2005. In addition to educating student nurses, Dr. Richardson’s clinical background is post-anesthesia care nursing. Dr. Richardson earned a BSN at The University of Texas at El Paso, an MSN in Administration, Community & Healthcare Systems and a PhD in Nursing at UT Health San Antonio.

Background: The Quality Enhancement Plan at UT Health San Antonio, Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC), serves as the institutional blueprint for transforming campus-wide interprofessional education (IPE). A key component of this plan includes cultivating knowledge and skills in faculty and staff to increase IPE opportunities for learners.
