Medical school accrediting bodies require longitudinal Interprofessional education. However, during the clinical years it may be assumed that interactions with other professions on the floors provide rising physicians and other health professions trainees with sufficient exposure to team-based practice. The development of formal clinical education curriculum tailored to individual sites supports all trainees in learning with, from and about each other and builds the foundation for better long term outcomes. This Lightning Talk will provide participants with ideas on how to design curricula that capitalize on existing activities and resources in clinical training sites and promote promising outcomes for improved patient care.
