Jill Forcina, PhD, RN, CNE, CNL, OCN is the Associate Director of Continuing Professional Development, Interprofessional Education, and Nursing at the NC Area Health Education Centers (NC AHEC) Program. Dr. Forcina is PhD- prepared nurse, a Clinical Nurse Leader, and a Certified Nurse Educator. She also serves as Chair of the NC Interprofessional Leaders Collaborative.

The purpose of this lightning talk is to discuss the need for academic-practice partnerships that support the education, training, and development of students, faculty, and healthcare workers in interprofessional education and practice (IPEP) opportunities.
