Dr. Justine Latif is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care pharmacist who completed her residency at Palm Beach Atlantic (PBA) University in Ambulatory Care and Academia. Upon completing her residency, she remained with PBA to establish an Ambulatory Care practice site and teach at PBA’s Gregory School of Pharmacy (GSOP). She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice where she continues to practice in ambulatory care and aid at the GSOP’s interprofessional program.

This academic year, Florida Atlantic University’s Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice, with their Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and School of Social Work, and Palm Beach Atlantic University’s School of Pharmacy successfully launched interprofessional videoconferencing sessions with local older adult mentors in a program to promote healthy aging. This program is unique in that it allows the assigned older adult mentor, called a Senior Aging Geriatric Educator (SAGE), to educate each team of students about healthy aging through the lens of interprofessional collaboration.
