Dr. Ryan Butler is an assistant professor at the University of Southern Indiana and director of the IPE committee for the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She led the group in developing an educational program to introduce IPE into introductory courses in each of 13 disciplines in the college. She is a certified TeamSTEPPS trainer and has presented at regional, state, and national conferences regarding successes in IPE. Dr. Butler's scholarship areas are public health, vulnerable populations, and nurse coaching.

The faculty, staff, and health profession students conducted an interprofessional wellness fair aiming to promote health and provide opportunities for interprofessional collaboration.
