Ms. Douglas serves as KU Cancer Center’s Primary Care & Community Research Network Manager and manages a few important Community Outreach and Engagement initiatives at KU Cancer Center. One of the programs, Patient and Investigator Voices Organizing Together (PIVOT), is a novel patient research advocacy group. PIVOT offers all cancer survivors, co-survivors, and those at high risk for cancer the opportunity to partner with cancer investigators as they develop their research. Ms. Douglas also helps manage the KU Cancer Center Community Advisory Board. She has been a nurse working with oncology patients since 2012.
