Dr. Bethany Robertson is a Clinical Associate Professor at the School of Nursing, Emory University. She has held a variety of positions as an advanced practice nurse, educator, and leader in both academia and practice. She is an editor of a blog focused on IPE for the International Clinician Educators (ICE) and has appointments on key committees of national organizations focused on IPE, quality and safety. She is a member of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Her funded projects focus on IPE and academic practice partnerships. She is a Distinguished Scholar Fellow in the National Academy of Practice (NAP).

However, the continued growth of scientific submissions puts an increasing burden on the demand for peer review (M. Kovanis etal., 2016). Reviewer fatigue has become evident in trying to meet the review demands(C. Fox et al., 2017). The Interprofessional Identity Program (IPIP) was created to provide a longitudinal setting for nursing and medical students to learn about each other and consider their professional identities as members of interprofessional health care teams. The curriculum was predominantly student led and presented virtually, and considered the aspects of teamwork, resilience, critical consciousness, and workplace culture.
